I’m Katherine, the stained‑glass artist behind Glassy Designs. From my studio in Kure Beach, North Carolina, I create handcrafted stained‑glass windows, panels, sun catchers, and mixed‑media pieces that blend glass with natural wood. My work is inspired by the colors, textures, and movement of the Carolina coast.

My background is a mix of creativity and business. I earned a degree in Business Administration and spent years working in marketing, trade show design, and graphic management. Those experiences shaped how I approach stained glass today — with strong design principles, intentional color choices, and a focus on craftsmanship.

Every piece is built using the traditional Tiffany copper‑foil method and guided by a love for detail and storytelling. Whether I’m designing a custom window or a small mixed‑media piece, my goal is to create art that feels personal, meaningful, and made to last.
